I'm a PhD student and work on generation of frequency combs by means of integrated ring resonators and associated stabilization schemes. The goal is to use this frequency comb as a calibration source for astronomical spectrographs. I have finished my study of physics with a diploma thesis about dispersion engineering in integrated optical waveguides which includes numerical modeling and evaluation of experimental data. During my studies I focused on nonlinear dynamics and fluid dynamics.
